Dr Preshy Varghese holds a post graduate diploma in Dermatology, and has personally trained our Doctors in identifying and treating dermatology related conditions. We have listed some of the more common conditions we treat below, but if you have a specific concerns or condition not listed, please give us a call on 07 4152 8667, as we may still be able to help with your diagnosis and/or treatment. All consultations for dermatology related conditions are bilk-billed, however certain types of treatment may not be. We do NOT perform any cosmetic procedures for dermatological conditions.

Acne

We are able to provide diagnosis for many different acne conditions, including:

  • Acne Vulgaris

We can prescribe medications and topical creams and ointments for treatment of these conditions. We do NOT perform any cosmetic procedures.

Dermatitis

We can provide diagnosis and treatment for dermatitis conditions, such as:

  • Atopic Dermatitis (Eczma)
  • Contact Dermatitis
  • Seborrheic Dermatitis
  • Dyshidrotic Dermatitis
  • Spongiotic Dermatitis
  • Peri-oral Dermatitis

We are able to prescribe medications and topical treatments to aid in the management of these conditions, as well as providing regular follow ups if further treatment is required.

Psoriasis

We can provide diagnosis and treatment for multiple types of psoriasis, including:

  • Plaque Psoriasis
  • Guttate Psoriasis
  • Inverse Psoriasis
  • Erythrodermic Psoriasis
  • Nail Psoriasis

We are able to prescribe medications and topical treatments to aid in the management of these conditions, as well as providing regular follow ups if further treatment is required.

Allergic skin conditions

We can provide diagnosis and treatment for many different allergy related skin conditions, such as:

  • Urticaria (Hives)
  • Angiodema
  • Contact Dermatitis
  • Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)

We are able to prescribe medications and topical treatments to aid in the management of these conditions, as well as providing regular follow ups if further treatment is required.

Warts

We can provide many types of treatment for warts, including:

  • Prescribed medications
  • Liquid Nitrogen freezing (Cryo)
  • Hyfrecation
  • Surgical Removal

There may be fees associated with any treatment provided at our surgery. Please make sure to discuss this with your doctor when you see them, as our admin staff are unable to provide exact quotes.

Skin pigmentations

We can provide diagnosis for skin pigmentation conditions, such as those caused by:

  • Sun Exposure
  • Hormones
  • Skin Trauma
  • Inflammation
  • Genetics

We can prescribe topical treatments to help with the appearance of pigmentation, but we do NOT perform any cosmetic procedures.
